When to Pray?

Written by on March 16, 2020

  • Always

Luke 18:1 “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;”

I Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray without ceasing.”

  • In the Morning

Psalm 5:3 “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”

  • At Noon and in Evening

Psalm 55:17 “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”

  • Daily

Psalm 86:3 “Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.”

  • Day and Night

Psalm 88:1 “…O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:”

The best time to pray is whatever time you take to do so. I truly believe that if more saved people would schedule a time of pray along with times throughout the day, we would see so many more answers.

We know Daniel prayed three times a day on a schedule. (Dan. 6:10)

Amidst scheduled prayer time there ought to be times during the day we go to our Heavenly Father and converse. Why don’t you take a moment now to pray… -Bro Phil
